Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Teleprompter: Hands-Free (the "App"), made by Ditra ("Ditra", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms supplement the Standard EULA. If there is a conflict between them, the Standard EULA applies to the extent required.

Using the App

You may use the App for personal or commercial purposes, such as recording videos, presentations and speeches, in accordance with these Terms, the Standard EULA and the App Store rules. You agree not to misuse the App, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it in a way that breaks any applicable law.

Your content

Scripts and recordings you create are yours. They are stored on your device, in your own iCloud account and in your Photos library, and we do not claim any ownership of them. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to any material you read, record or share, including recording other people only with their consent where required.

Purchases and pricing

Some features of the App require a purchase. The following options are available through the App Store:

  • Lifetime — $29.99, a one-time, non-recurring purchase that unlocks the premium features of the App for as long as the App is offered.
  • Yearly — $14.99 per year, an auto-renewing subscription that includes a 1-week free trial for eligible new subscribers.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may vary by country or region; the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase applies. Prices may change in the future; changes to a subscription price will be communicated as required by Apple.

Auto-renewing subscriptions

If you choose the yearly subscription:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) on your device. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription or the lifetime option.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Ditra cannot issue refunds directly.

Restoring purchases

Your purchases are tied to your Apple ID. If you reinstall the App or use a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, use Restore Purchases in the App to regain access.

Third-party services

The App relies on services provided by Apple (such as iCloud, the Speech framework and the App Store), and on RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck as described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple's own terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the App reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that speech recognition will be accurate in every situation or language. We may update, change or discontinue features of the App at any time.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and Ditra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived. The warranty and liability provisions of the Standard EULA also apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
